π This article is specifically referring to the special Observer role available on our Enterprise Plans and legacy plans (Starter, Pro) and has limited permissions.
β
For information on how to invite people to observe sessions (including guests), please refer to this help article.
When you invite an Observer to your Lookback Org and send them the link to a certain project, they can:
Watch Live and previously recorded sessions within the project.
Take notes, chat with others, and create Findings.
Edit their own notes, chats, and Findings.
Convert other Collaborators' and Observers' notes into Findings
@mention other Collaborators and Observers
Access the Lookback Organisation Owner's name and email on the Members Page
Access all of your non-private projects and sessions
π If you only want your Observers to access sessions from a specific project and no other project, you'd need to make all your projects 'Private Projects' and make sure the Observers have been added only to the required Private Project(s). We recommend using this approach especially when you invite an external stakeholder such as a client to be Observers in your Lookback organisation. Please note, creating Private projects is possible on all plans except for our Freelance and legacy "Starter" plans.
When you invite an Observer to your Lookback Org and send them the link to a certain project, they cannot:
Access Private Projects and the sessions within Private Projects (unless they have specifically been added to the relevant Private Project).
