If you are doing a LiveShare (moderated), SelfTest (unmoderated), or Tasks (unmoderated) round on a mobile device, your participant will need to install our mobile app. For LiveShare sessions on desktop, you can choose to use our Chrome extension or the Extension-free beta.
Interview (moderated) rounds do not require any app or extension to be installed.
❗ If you are doing an Interview session on a mobile/tablet device, they do not need to install our Participate app, but they will not be able to share their screen due to Android and Apple restrictions. If you need participants to share screen on mobile/tablet devices, you must use LiveShare, SelfTest, or Tasks.
