Do I need a User Interviews account to use the Recruit via Lookback feature?
No, you do not need to have a separate User Interviews account to use the recruit feature; everything is done directly through Lookback.
If I chose "Invite my own participants" but decided I want to Recruit via Lookback instead (or vice versa), can I change that setting in the round?
Not at this time. If you need to change your recruitment option, you will need to recreate the round from the beginning. If you duplicate the round, it will also duplicate your recruitment settings, but you can copy and paste from one round to the other to save some time.
What if I already have an existing account/credits with User Interviews? Can I use those credits with this integration?
At this time, it is not possible to use an existing User Interviews account with the Recruit feature, but you can still use them with the lite integration by choosing the option to Invite my own participants when setting up your round.
What if my study end date has passed, but I didn't get all the participants I needed (e.g. only 5 out of the 10 participants actually completed it)?
If your study end date has passed, you'll need to create a new round and recruit participants for that round. Assuming nothing changes, you can always duplicate the existing round to save yourself time!
What if I need to cancel and reschedule a moderated session with a participan I've already approved?
After the participant has picked a time slot, the moderator can click Cancel in the list of recruited participants if that participant's start time is in the future. The participant will be asked to reschedule and can again pick from the available time slots. If they fail to reschedule, the participant will still be paid 25% of the incentive, but you will not be charged the recruitment fee for the participant
What happens if a participant is approved and schedules a time but does not show up?
If a participant did not show up at their scheduled time, you can click Mark as no show. You will not be charged for this participant and they will not be paid the incentive.
